Four DCB football players to move on

The Dakota College at Bottineau (DCB) football program is very happy to announce that four young men have decided to further their education and football careers.

Evans Norris is going on to play at Southwestern State University in Oklahoma.

Norris finished with 21 tackles, two interceptions and a forced fumble in six games for the Jacks in 2013.

Shazzon Mumphrey is going on to play at Florida A and M in Florida.

Mumphrey threw for 1604 yards and 16 touchdowns in 11 games as DCB’s starting quarterback in 2013.

Jonathan Parks is going on to play at Wayne State in Nebraska.
Parks was the Jacks’ leading receiver in 2013, as he caught 34 passes for 513 yards and six touchdowns.

Jamarr Patterson is going on to play at Langston University in Oklahoma.

Patterson ran for 613 yards and six touchdowns for the Jacks in the 2013 season.

All of these players helped lead DCB to a program record eight victories, and the first bowl game in the college’s history.
