Reporter-Local Government, Education, Business: The Bismarck Tribune, the newspaper in the capital city of North Dakota, is seeking a full-time reporter to cover local government, education and business in Bismarck and neighboring Mandan, a metro area of about 135,000 people. The successful candidate will also cover a variety of general assignment stories and contribute to weekend centerpieces and special projects. The Tribune is looking for someone who will find the story behind the story; someone who doesn’t wait for a press conference to get the news. We’re looking for a reporter who will dig deeper than meeting coverage and develop sources to stay ahead of developing stories.  We’d prefer someone with at least two years of reporting experience but will consider recent college graduates with strong internships. News Editor

Local News Editor-Bismarck: The Bismarck Tribune, located in the capital city of North Dakota, has an immediate opening for a full-time multimedia journalist with news editor, layout and digital skills. We are looking for a leader who can manage reporters, plan and contribute to the daily news coverage, help coordinate design and grow our digital audience.  This is the newsroom’s No. 2 job. You will have a voice in planning, developing and delivering impactful journalism across digital and print platforms, plus you’ll help direct workflow and production while partnering with the newsroom’s top editor.
