The CEO oversees all aspects of the organization, including newsgathering, development and operations. The ideal candidate has a strong background in journalism, the highest level of journalistic integrity and proven fundraising and development experience. Responsibilities include: strategic vision and execution, content, administrative and financial oversight, development, brand integrity and marketing, organizational leadership and governance support.

LEGISLATIVE INTERNS
LEGISLATIVE INTERNS: NDNA is seeking college students interested in pursuing a career in journalism to take part in the NDNA Education Foundation Legislative Internship. One to three candidates will be selected for the four month program, which pays a full time wage during the legislative session January-April, 2025. Candidates must have excellent writing skills and knowledge of state government structure. They will be mentored by a seasoned legislative journalist. The Bismarck Tribune, the newspaper in the capital of North Dakota, has an opening for a full-time state government reporter. The Tribune is a leader in covering state government and politics. The successful candidate will be expected to write daily stories as well as long-term investigative and enterprise stories. The beat also includes coverage of Theodore Roosevelt National Park, the future Theodore Roosevelt Presidential Library and North Dakota’s congressional delegation. The position is based in the Tribune newsroom when the Legislature is not in session, with space to work at the Capitol when legislators are in session every two years.
