Law enforcement asks for assistance with burglaries

A string of break-ins have taken place in Bottineau County on farmsteads where buildings have been broken into and items have been stolen.

Steve Watson, sheriff of Bottineau County, is asking for the public’s assistance in the burglary cases.

“The Bottineau County Sheriff’s Department is investigating numerous burglaries in rural Bottineau County,” Watson said.
“If you are a victim of a burglary please contact the sheriff’s department immediately before altering anything. Anyone with any information regarding these burglaries please contact the Bottineau County Sheriff’s Department at (701) 228-2740.”
