A new business has started in town that will interest those individuals that enjoy hunting and fishing, especially for those who enjoy these activities in the fall and wintertime.
Tom Bjerk and Alex Klingbeil have recently opened Two Guys Sport Shacks, which offers such merchandise as ice houses, deer blinds and stands, deer feeders and all the accessories for these items.
“We came up with the idea while we were fishing,” Klingbeil said. “We were talking and realized that these things were not sold locally in the area and we wondered why. From there, we gave a guy a call in Mandan who does the Zach Shack fishing houses and he said that he was looking to getting someone up in Bottineau. So, we started from there and decided to get a few more options like feeders and blinds.”
Bjerk and Klingbeil are offering Zach Shack and Ridgeline fish houses along with Boss Buck’s feeders and blinds.
Two Guys Sport Shacks is located at Mark Klingbeil’s body shop, which is located north of the Bottineau County Museum and the city’s shooting range on the north side of Bottineau.
Individuals can drive out to Klingbeil’s Body Shop and see the blinds and fish houses that are set up for their customers to see (the feeders are not set up due to theft issue, but can be seen by contacting Bjerk or Klingbeil).
Bjerk and Klingbeil, who are both employed with Immigration and Custom Enforcement (ICE), have thought of their Canadian neighbors when it comes to purchasing their merchandise in America.
“Canadians who buy them, the merchandise does have titles and serial numbers so they will be able to bring them across the border,” they said.
Individuals, who are interested in the ice houses, deer blinds and stands, deer feeders and accessories can contact Bjerk at (701) 389-0583 or 228-2468 and Klingbeil at 871-5012 or 228-5022.
