New window cleaning business opens

There is a new window cleaning business in Bottineau County that not only makes windows shine but a whole lot more.

Chris Thompson is the owner of Attention to Detail Window Cleaning and has 10 years of experience in commercial and residential cleaning, along with being licensed and insured in the business.

Thompson offers a full service window cleaning service, along with other cleanup duties for residential homes and commercial buildings.

The window cleaning portion of his business deals with:

  •  Cleaning windows inside and out
  •  Cleaning screens, tracks, sills and frames
  •  Detailing the glass from streaks and drips
  •  Utilizing a pure water cleaning system which allows the company to clean windows four stories in height without leaving the ground that grants a spot-free finish

“With the pure water cleaning system we use reverse osmosis quality water to scrub and rinse with, which goes through a water fed pole,” Thompson said. “There is a machine that purifies the water by getting all the minerals out, or under 10 total dissolved solids (the measurement of minerals in water), you can scrub and rinse the water and get a dry spot-free appearance.  

“It is also used mainly if I am doing anything with height to it. So, I can stand on the ground and extend the pole with a brush on it and clean, as opposed to being on a ladder. It is safer when you can use it.”

Thompson and his wife, Katie, work together in their business.

“We, as a business, try to do quality work, hence the name Attention to Detail,” Thompson said. “We try to treat a person’s home as if it is ours. To take precautions we wear boot covers when we are inside the home and put towels down so we do not leave puddles of water or anything. So, we just try to make the customer feel comfortable and make everything look good when we leave.”
