Westhope-Newburg Glenburn’s (WNG) football team improved to 3-0 last week without even stepping on the field.
The Sioux were scheduled to play New Town last Friday, but New Town had to forfeit because they had only eight players.
WNG were coming off of back to back blowout victories from the previous week. The Sioux beat Mohall-Lansford-Sherwood 46-6 in their opener on Aug. 27. WNG then beat Kenmare-Bowbells-Burke Central 52-0 on Aug. 31.
The Sioux will look for their fourth consecutive win at 7 p.m. on Friday at Divide County. The Maroons were runners-up in the nine-man Dakota Bowl last season.
