DCB back moves on, joins Iowa NAIA school

Head coach Jeff Douglas is proud to announce the signing of Orlando, Fla. native, Mathis Thomas, to the 2013 football program.

Thomas, a 5’7” running back, will transfer to Graceland  University this fall from Dakota College at Bottineau, in Bottineau, N.D, where he started for two years as the feature back at DCB.

“Mathis is a transfer who has great speed, agility and is extremely versatile,” said Douglas. “He will bring a great work ethic and leadership abilities to our program. He is the cousin of former standout corner James ‘JT’ Thomas.”

Thomas, the son of Bridget Stewart, will major in Web Design during his time at GU.
