Both Dakota College at Bottineau basketball teams heard good news this past week as they each landed a pair of players on the All-MonDak teams.

For the Ladyjacks, sophomore Jackie Miller was named to the All-MonDak first team. Miller averaged 16.3 points and six rebounds per game in 29 games for the Ladyjacks.

Fellow sophomore Josie DeGagne was named to the All-MonDak second team for her efforts this season.

DeGagne averaged 14.4 points and sunk 88 three pointers in 30 games during the season.

Jazzmine Robinson from Williston State College was named Most Valuable Player.

For the Jacks, freshman Kristoff Walker was bestowed with a first team selection.

Walker averaged 18.4 points per game on 44.4 percent shooting before breaking two bones in his leg on Feb. 20. Walker was also named to the All-Region XIII team.

Making the second team All-MonDak for the Jacks was sophomore Jayden McMillin.

McMillin was superb for the Jacks when healthy as he averaged a team-best 18.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game in 21 games.

He suffered nagging injuries,  including a concussion in the latter part of the season, which kept him out of the lineup.

Also making the All-MonDak team was former Bottineau High School standout Justin McCloud.
McCloud quickly rose to a starting role in his freshman campaign for the Bismarck State College Mystics.

McCloud concluded the regular season averaging 16.4 points per game, including a scorching 43.3 percent from three-point range.

Bretson McNeal of North Dakota State College of Science was named MVP.
