Bridget Farstad has accepted a position with Edward Jones and will serve the company as a financial advisor in a Bottineau office managed by her.

Farstad was raised in the St. John-Rolla area and is a graduate of Killarney High School.

She earned a bachelor’s degree in English from Brandon University in 2005 and also holds a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Minot State University, which she earned in 2007.

In her career, she has held management positions in sales with Staples, Gustafson Oil in Bottineau and Conlin’s Furniture in Minot.

While being employed with Conlin’s Furniture, she was offered a position with Edward Jones in Bottineau, which she was pleased to accept.

“I am happy to be back in Bottineau,” Farstad said. “When I had the chance to come back to Bottineau I jumped on it because I love it here.”

As an Edward Jones’ financial advisor, Farstad will provide full financial services.

“At Edward Jones, we are able to offer every investment options to our clients,” Farstad said. “Depending on what our clients’ needs are, from a stockbroker or picking out a couple of stocks, to full retirement planning and income managing, we do it all.”

Farstad added she also offers such services as IRAs, Roths, 401Ks, SEP accounts, business retirement accounts and regular investment accounts.

“If you are just getting started, or are a high net worth investor, I can assists you,” she said.

Bridget is married to Shane Farstad who is a builder in Minot.

The couple enjoys hunting, horses and spending time at Lake Metigoshe.

Farstad’s Edward Jones office is located at the former Wondrasek Photography Studio on Sixth Street and Sinclair, just north of the First Baptist Church. Her office hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and she takes evening and weekend appointments.
