Stone accepts administrator position

Jonathan Stone has accepted a position at the Good Samaritan Society-Bottineau and will be serving the facility as its administrator.
Stone was born and raised in Wahpeton and is a graduate of Wahpeton High School. Stone holds an associate degree in accounting from the University of North Dakota, a Bachelor’s degree in health service administration from Minnesota State University-Moorhead and he is currently working towards his Master’s degree in health administration from Bellevue University.
Stone has been employed by the Good Samaritan Society since 2007 when he accepted a position as a CNA at the Good Samaritan Society –Lakota facility. After spending five months in Lakota, he accepted a position at the Good Samaritan Society-Fargo center where he was employed as a universal worker med aide while completing his bachelor’s degree from MSU-Moorhead.
Upon earning his bachelor’s degree, Stone conducted his internship in health service administration at the Good Samaritan Society-Mohall, before going to the Good Samaritan Society-Crosby as its administrator.
In recent months, the Good Samaritan Society closed its Crosby facility, bringing Stone to the Bottineau community.
Stone said that he is pleased to be in Bottineau for a number of reasons.
“Being from North Dakota, I wanted to stay in North Dakota; and, I really like it here in Bottineau It’s a wonderful community,” Stone said. “And, I love the outdoors because I love hunting and I love hockey. So, Bottineau is a perfect fit for me.”
Stone and wife, Ellen, have two daughters, Austin, who is five years old, and Havyn, who is one.
Stone stated that he is looking forward to being the administrator for the Good Samaritan Society-Bottineau.
“It’s a very nice facility and a very large facility that has a lot to offer,” Stone said. “I’m excited to start working here, and with my experience as a CNA and a med aide, I’ll be able to bring a lot of that experience to the facility, and be able to understand a lot of the issues that comes with this type of facility.”
Stone starts at the Good Samaritan Society-Bottineau on Feb. 20.
