The Dakota College at Bottineau Lumberjacks lost three straight this past week by large margins.
First on Tuesday, the Jacks fell victim as they hosted Williston State. The Tetons went on a rampage scoring 11 times in a shutout of the Jacks.
DCB was out shot by the Tetons 47-16 in the game.
The weekend didn’t go much better for DCB as they traveled to Kenora, Manitoba to take on the Kenora Sr. Thistles.
The Thistles were all over the Jacks on Friday’s opener and were up 10-0 before DCB could score a goal.
Lucas Lindholm scored the lone Jacks goal as he took passes from Matt Mehlhaff and Nick Sutton on the play.
Kenora tacked on a couple more goals to complete the 12-1 win as they out shot the Jacks 45-12.
The Thistles completed the sweep in Saturday’s 10-0 victory over DCB in the final game of the series.
Kenora’s Kevin Webb had a hat trick in the win for the Thistles.
DCB drops to 5-17 after the three losses.
Things do not get any easier for DCB this week as they travel to Williston to take on the Tetons at 7 p.m. on Wednesday night. Then they play a home and home series with Minot State beginning in Bottineau at 6 p.m. on Sunday and closing in Minot at 5 p.m. on Monday.
