School Board elections held in Bottineau County with nine people being named to the school boards

The school board election in Bottineau County saw a large number of write-ins this year in the three different school districts with nine individuals being elected overall to the school boards.

BOTTINEAU:
 
In Bottineau’s school board election, 31 individual’s names were placed on the ballots with Kim Schoenborn and Larry Brooks each winning a three-year term and Kenny Fix receiving a one-year term on the board. Schoenborn received 76 votes, Brooks received 71 votes and Fix had seven votes. A total of 84 votes were cast in the election.

NEWBURG:

Three positions were open in the Newburg Public School with 13 names which were placed on the ballots. Taylor Erdman, Bryan Pease and Nathan Boll received the most votes with Erdman receiving 28 votes, Pease received 12 votes and Boll with eight votes. Thirty individuals voted in the election. All positions were three-year terms.

WESTHOPE:

In the Westhope School election, two positions were opened for three-year terms.  Eight names were placed on the ballots with Charles Kveum and Jennifer Lodoen receiving the most votes. Kveum received 83 votes and Lodoen received 78 votes.
