Two more wins over region opponents extended the Bottineau Braves winning streak to nine games, as they solidify their stance at the top of Region 5.

Bottineau downed both Mohall-Lansford-Sherwood-Glenburn (MLSG) and Rolette with ease this past week.
Things began with an 8-0 win over MLSG on Monday in Mohall.

Senior Cody Brooks tossed the complete game, allowing only four hits. Brooks also was solid at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs batted in (RBI).

Sophomore Andrew Hill went 3-for-5 with a double and an RBI, and freshman Lee Schneider rounded out the offense for Bottineau with a 2-for-3 day.

Wyatt Thompson took the loss for the Mavericks as he gave up 10 hits to the Braves.

The ninth straight Bottineau win on the season came in a 12-0 decimation of Rolette last Thursday in Rolette.
The Braves scored multiple runs in the first, fourth, sixth and seventh innings to take home the victory.

Ging Martin got the win on the hill as Bottineau held the Comets to only two hits in the contest.

Smacking home runs for the Braves were the senior duo of Justin McCloud and Brooks. McCloud went 2-for-3 on the day and scored four times.

Karson Schoening took the loss on the hill for the Comets. He also had one of the two Rolette hits—a double.
The Braves will test their undefeated record with five games in the upcoming week. First Bottineau will travel to Surrey on Tuesday, return home to host Dunseith on Thursday and play at Velva Friday and at Hazen and Washburn on Saturday in Washburn.

Bottineau’s final home game (and final regular season game) will be on Monday, May 14 as they host Bishop Ryan.
Region play begins on Monday, May 21 in Surrey.
