Local man receives 15 months in state prison

The three individuals who were responsible for breaking into Cowboy’s Bar and robbing from it have all been sentenced in court.
On Tuesday, Michael Mathew Larson, 35, was sentenced to 36 months in jail for burglary at the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation with 21 months suspended. Larson will have to serve 15 months of his sentence. He also has to pay fines equal to $14,768.
Thomas James Evans, 22, was sentenced to 12 months in the Bottineau County Jail as an accomplish with 10 months suspended. He has already served his two month sentence. His fines for the crime were $14,768.
Rebekah Lynn Dolbeare, 24, was sentenced to the Bottineau County Jail for 20 days on the charge of theft of property, which she has served. Her fines for the crime total $14,768.
In June of 2010, Larson, Evans and Dolbeare broke into Cowboy’s Bar through the establishment’s drive-in window. Once in the bar, they stole a safe from the business which held thousands of dollars.
