Tracksters hit Hazen, Rugby

The track and field teams from both Bottineau High and Westhope-Newburg were busy last week as their 2015 seasons got underway.

Bottineau opened its 2015 campaign last Tuesday at the Bison-Miner Classic in Hazen. BHS finished 16th as a team on the girls’ side and 15th on the boys’.

At Thursday’s Panther Booster Invitational in Rugby, BHS’s boys finished 12th while the Stars girls ended up 16th. W-N’s girls finished 13th.

BHS will compete today in Fessenden and on Saturday in Langdon before both BHS and W-N visit Belcourt on Monday.
