Another individual has been arrested in the double murder which happened at Turtle Mountain Pork for being dishonest with law enforcement.

Hector Javier Crespo Rodrguez, 22, has been arrested for hindering an investigation concerning the Jeremy Rodriguez Rios’ case.

According to Sheriff Steve Watson, the Bottineau County Sheriff’s Department (BCSD) discovered that Rodrguez had lied to law enforcement in his initial interview with them in the double homicide case against Rios.

Once it was discovered, Rodrguez was arrested on the charge against him. Rodrguez’s arrest is a Class C Felony.

This isn’t the first encounter Rodrguez has had with the BCSD. On Feb. 25, he was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol. The charge was later changed to driving recklessly.

The Rios case deals with the double murders of Christopher Sluder and Brian Story, two employees of Turtle Mountain Pork.

According to court documents, Rios killed Sluder and Story a day after a group of employees, which include Rios, had a verbal altercation with Sluder and Story over the employees’ performances in the hog barns.
