WILLISTON - The Dakota College at Bottineau baseball team’s early-season struggles continued last weekend when DCB dropped all four of its games at Williston State.

The Lumberjacks fell hard in the first of four games at Rabon Field and struggled throughout the series. WSC defeated the Jacks 8-1 in seven innings in Friday’s first game before the Tetons scored 10 runs in the first three innings of the second game en route to a 12-2 victory.

Williston kept rolling when the teams reconvened on Saturday. The Tetons blasted DCB 16-1 in the first of two games that day before WSC won the series finale by a 13-1 count.

DCB (1-9) will head to Glendive, Mont., this weekend for a pair of doubleheaders on Saturday and Sunday against Dawson. The Buccaneers defeated DCB twice in as many days two weeks ago in Glendive.
