BWP ski team closes out season

INGLIS, Manitoba - The Bottineau Winter Park (BWP) ski team closed out its latest season last weekend at the Asessippi Ski Resort in Manitoba. Three different BWP members placed highly at the Asessippi event, and one member came away with multiple awards.

Kutter Moum, a member of BWP’s under-14 team, won three medals at the event. Moum won the gold medal in both the giant slalom and skier X (four-man race) competitions, and he also won the overall bronze medal after the final Manitoba Cup standings were calculated.

In the under-12 division, Stetson Nelson won gold in the slalom, giant slalom and skier X competitions. In the same division, Collin Willmot took the silver medal in the slalom race.
