Three Dakota College at Bottineau (DCB) sophomore basketball players were named last week to the Mon-Dak Conference’s men’s and women’s all-conference teams for this season.
Two members of DCB’s women’s team found their way onto the all-league list. Sophomore guard Chelsea Frazier, who has averaged a team-best 24.7 points per game (PPG) this season for the Ladyjacks, was the school’s lone first-team selection on the women’s side.
Imani Scott (22 PPG this season), a sophomore guard and the only women’s player in DCB history to surpass the 1,000-point mark as a Ladyjack, found her way onto the Mon-Dak’s second-team list.
Gilbert Carter, a sophomore guard from DCB’s men’s basketball team, was the Lumberjacks’ lone selection on the Mon-Dak’s all-league list. Carter, who has averaged a team-best 19.2 PPG this season, was named to the all-conference honors’ second string.
