Shooting Stars score at will

The Bottineau U-19 girls’ hockey team couldn’t have gotten out to a much more perfect start to 2015 than the Stars did last weekend.

Bottineau breezed past both of its most recent opponents, downing Wahpeton 12-0 on Saturday at Bottineau Community Arena before routing Grand Forks 11-0 the following afternoon.

The Stars (4-2-0) will be back at home on Saturday for an exhibition game against Manitou (Manitoba). 

The opening face-off at Bottineau Community Arena is set for 12:30 p.m.
