Braves win Wadena tournament

WADENA, Minn. - The Bottineau-Rugby (B-R) hockey team kept up its recent winning ways last weekend by winning a holiday high school tournament in Minnesota.

The Braves downed Breckenridge-Wahpeton 7-4 on Friday before scoring another seven goals on Saturday in a 7-5 victory over Redwood Valley (Minn.).

B-R is on the road again this weekend. The Braves, who bumped their record to 4-3-0 last weekend, will visit West Region rival Jamestown on Friday before taking on Mandan the following day.
