Stars split two-game set with Neepawa

NEEPAWA, Manitoba - The Bottineau U-19 girls’ hockey team split a two-game exhibition series last weekend against Canadian opposition.
The Stars dropped a 3-0 decision against Neepawa on Saturday, with all three goals coming in the second period.
Bottineau returned the favor on Sunday in defeating Neepawa 3-2. Erin Severson picked up the Stars’ first and third goals, while Sonja Gilje scored the second.
The Stars’ next two games will be at home against both Wahpeton and Park River on Jan. 3 starting at 1
