ELLENDALE, N.D. - The Dakota College at Bottineau (DCB) men’s basketball team finished the 2014 portion of its schedule in style on Wednesday.

The Lumberjacks’ final opponent of the calendar year was Trinity Bible College, which had no answer for DCB. The Jacks easily handled the Lions on their home court, defeating Trinity by a 102-62 count.

The Jacks built up a commanding lead early on and led 57-28 at halftime at the Ray Ulmer Field House. Normal service resumed after the break, as the Lions never truly got back into the game.

DCB forward Keouvion McCalop finished Wednesday’s game with a game-high 28 points to go along with 12 rebounds.

The Jacks will be back in action Jan. 2-3 in a tournament in Thief River Falls, Minn.
