Lumberjacks split in Wyoming

SHERIDAN, Wyo. - The Dakota College at Bottineau (DCB) men’s basketball team experienced an up-and-down Thanksgiving weekend in going 1-1 at the Lions Club tournament hosted by Sheridan College (Wyo.).

The Lumberjacks (9-3) struggled mightily on Friday against the host school. Sheridan took a 20-point lead into the halftime break before cruising to a 110-68 win.

DCB then bounced back on Saturday to edge Little Big Horn College (Mont.) by a 107-106 count.

The Jacks will be at home this weekend against Leech Lake Tribal College (Minn.) on both Friday and Saturday. An 8 p.m. tip is scheduled for Friday’s game, while Saturday’s contest against the Lakers will be a 3 p.m. matinee.
