DCB men finish 1-1 at Lake Region State tournament

DEVILS LAKE - The Dakota College at Bottineau (DCB) men’s basketball team picked up a win and a loss last weekend at the Lake Region Classic hosted by Lake Region State College.

The Lumberjacks opened tournament play on Saturday against Candeska Cikana Community College from Fort Tetten, N.D. The Lumberjacks led 59-45 at halftime and cruised to a 110-87 victory over CCCC.

The following afternoon, DCB fell 107-98 in a high-scoring game against ECI Alumni, a team made up of former college players.

The Jacks (4-1) will be back at home Tuesday night to face Turtle Mountain before taking part in North Dakota State College of Science’s tournament this weekend in Wahpeton.
