Break in criminal cases at Westhope

The Bottineau County Sheriff’s Department since this summer has been conducting an investigation of crimes that have taken place in Westhope and recently have conducted a number of arrests on burglary and drug crimes.
Justin Arneson, 19, of Westhope, has been arrested on one count of burglary and two thefts of properties.
Arneson’s burglary charge is for the break-in of Huber’s Can Dak Lounge in Westhope. The first theft charge is for a 2000 Honda Rancher four-wheeler which is the property of Larry Hall of Westhope. The second charge of theft was for the theft of a motor vehicle.
Kristin Arneson, 21, of Westhope, has been arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia-methamphetamine and ingesting a controlled substance.
Garrett Vandyke, 22, of Westhope, has been arrested for possession of a controlled substance-marijuana and ingesting a controlled substance.
Dakota Walden, 19, of Roth, has been arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and person under 21 in consumption/possession of alcoholic beverage.
Spencer Elliot, 22, of Roth, has been arrested for the possession of a controlled substance-marijuana.
Investigation concerning recent crimes in Westhope will continue with the possibility that some of these individuals will have additional charges placed against them.
