Maxbass couple arrested in crimes against a minor

Adam and Debra Ray of Maxbass appeared in court at the Bottineau County Courthouse on Friday, Oct. 17 for sexual crimes against a minor.

Adam Ray, 33, was charged with continuous sexual abuse of a child, while Debra Ray, 37, was charged with Gross Sexual Imposition.

The charges against the Rays are AA felonies, which if convicted of the charges could see a maximum penalty of life in prison.
Ray was also charged with possession of marijuana with the intent to delivery, a Class B-Felony.

The Rays are in currently custody at the Bottineau County jail.
