Bottineau Winter Park received a trackchair for the Park’s Adaptive Ski Program on Monday morning through the fundraiser Tim Sanderson and Larry Marchus hosted for Annie House’s project this summer.
The trackchair cost $12,700 and it will allow adaptive individuals to enjoy outdoor activities at the Winter Park year round. The trackchair was manufactured at Action Manufacturing in Marshall, Minn.
On hand for the donation ceremony were Brad Knudson of the Bottineau Winter Park; Larry Marchus; Mona Marchus; Andy Renner of Action Manufacturing, Keith Peterson, state commander of the North Dakota AMVETS; Al Wondrasek, member of the Bottineau County Veterans Association and Michael Cerkowniak of the Anne Carlsen Center who is the adaptive recreation program coordinator for Annie’s House.
Peterson, for his state commander project, is conducting a fundraiser to raise money to purchase an additional trackchair for the Annie’s House Disabled Veterans Recreation Program.
