The Dakota College at Bottineau (DCB) football team now knows where it stands in terms of the national junior college scene.
DCB received votes in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) preseason football poll, placing them just outside of the national top 20.
Two fellow members of the Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC) find themselves in the national top 20 ahead of the first games of the season this Saturday. Rochester Community and Technical College came in at No. 18, while Central Lakes is hardly behind at No. 20.
East Mississippi Community College is the NJCAA preseason No. 1. Iowa Western Community College, Copiah-Lincoln Community College (Miss.), Trinity Valley Community College (Tex.) and Georgia Military College round out the top five.
DCB’s first game of the year is at home to Minnesota West on Saturday at 2 p.m.
