Dehart joins St. Andrew’s Staff

Michelle Dehart has accepted a position with St. Andrew’s Health Center and will serve the medical facility as its foundation director.
Dehart was born in West Bend Wisc., and raised in Long Lake, Wisc. She earned an Associate of Applied Science degree in information processing administration at Nicolet Area Technical College in Rhinelander, Wisc.
In her career, Dehart has been employed in home health care, community relations, as a certified financial education instructor and has worked with the elderly and those in poverty situations.
Before coming to Bottineau, she was employed as a loan officer with the Native Community Development Institution, a non-profit revolving loan fund for Native Americans.
In 2013, Dehart was awarded the Governors Financial Literacy Award for the state of Wisconsin for her work in finances.
She comes to Bottineau to be with her fiancée who is employed in the oil industry in Westhope.
As the foundation director at St. Andrew’s, Dehart’s duties will include fundraising, marketing, public media relations and strategic planning.
She will also serve on various committees, conduct initiatives for the health center and will seek out, assisting and writing grants for the health center.
Dehart said that she is pleased to be employed with St. Andrew’s Health Center and is eager to become part of the community.
“The people are very nice, very helpful, very courteous, always smiling, always happy and just very nice people,” Dehart said. “I am excited for the opportunity to be here and to grow the foundation. I am looking forward to meeting the community.”
