Susan Stabo has accepted a position with St. Andrew’s Health Center and will help the medical facility as a nurse practitioner.
Stabo was born and raised on her family’s farm in Milton, N.D., and is a graduate of Milton-Osnabrock High School.
She earned her associate of science degree at Dakota College at Bottineau, bachelor’s degree in nursing from Medcenter One in Bismarck and her master’s degree in family nurse practitioner at the University of North Dakota.

After she earned her nurse practitioner degree, she worked a year and half for a cardiologist and eight years at Sanford Merit Care in Fargo.
As a nurse practitioner at St. Andrew’s, Stabo will care for all the medical needs of center’s patients. She also will specialize in cardiology (congested heart failure, heart management, hypertension, high cholesterol, etc…) and diabetes management.
Stabo said that she is pleased to be back in Bottineau and being employed with St. Andrew’s Health Center.
“My goal is to live and work in Bottineau,” Stabo said. “So, I was really excited that I received a job here because I get to be with my kids and grand kids.”
Stabo is married to Scott Stabo and she has three children, one step-daughter and eight grandchildren.
In her spare time she likes to travel, sew and quilt.
