FARGO - Departing seniors from North Dakota’s western high schools went out with wins Sunday at the annual Shrine Bowl at the Fargodome.
Two games made up the 42nd edition of the event. An 11-man game started things off Sunday afternoon before a nine-man game took place that evening.
In the 11-man game, the West team’s defensive dominated the East team en route to a 21-2 win. Former Bottineau High lineman Cody Bedlion had been named to the West team.
The nine-man West team won its game, too, beating the East by a 48-14 count.
Former Westhope-Newburg-Glenburn wide receiver and linebacker Ethan Miller had two receptions for 11 yards
