General Manager/Ad Director

Forum Communications Company/Detroit Lakes Newspaper Group is seeking an experienced General Manager/Ad Director to manage the comprehensive day-to-day operational activity of The Detroit Lakes Tribune, The Wadena Pioneer Journal, and The Perham Focus. This role will ensure achievement of revenue goals and expense budgets, mentor local advertising sales team members for success, and set the tone for the location, making sure employees are challenged, supported, understand expectations, and are held accountable. MANAGING EDITOR

The Devils Lake Journal is seeking a full time, MANAGING EDITOR This position will be responsible for overseeing news, reporting, and putting the paper together. Responsibilities: · Oversee and create content for our print and digital platforms, and other niche publications; · Manages, supports, and leads existing content development in the newsroom; · Applicants need a collaborative management style, a passion for local news, strong editing and writing skills and the ability to drive significant enterprise journalism; · Networking with the community and interacting with the public are both necessary functions of this position; · Strong technology skills, and excellent interpersonal communications are required.
