</a></span>During the NDNA Board meeting held on Oct. 15, Jill Friesz was elected to serve as a director, and former 2nd Vice President Amy Wobbema was elected to serve as 1st Vice President, filling the remainder of the seat formerly held by Cecile Wehrman. Director Cole Short was elected to serve as 2nd Vice President.</p>

<h2>North Dakota News Co-op takes shape</h2>

The group’s board of directors plans to post the position of managing editor in the coming months, with content expected to begin being distributed to newspapers in 2022.</p>

<h2>ND newspapers prevail as 'Best of the Dakotas'</h2>

</a></span>North Dakota newspapers brought home the gold last week, securing a victory in the Best of the Dakotas newspaper contest, sweeping three of five general excellence circulation categories and bringing home the traveling trophy in the rivalry contest between North and South Dakota newspapers.</p>
