Nine new educators in school district

Bottineau Public Schools has nine new teachers who will be educating Bottineau’s young scholars this academic year. They include:
Erin (Trottier) Auth
Auth was born in Rolla and was raised on a farm just outside of St. John. She graduated from St. John Public School and attended college at University of Mary, University of North Dakota and graduated from Belcourt’s Turtle Mountain Community College with a four-year degree in secondary science education in 2011.
She started her educational career as a substitute teacher at St. John Public School and Turtle Mountain High School in Belcourt. At that time during the summer months, she was employed with Academic Readiness, which is a summer program offered at Turtle Mountain Community College.
This past summer, Auth taught college level biology and microbiology lab at Becourt’s local college.
Auth also taught science at Mount Pleasant School for the school’s science teacher while she served for the military in Afghanistan.
In Bottineau’, Auth will be teaching physical science, chemistry and physics in the high school.
Adam Beyer
Beyer was born and raised in Bottineau. He is a 2005 Bottineau High School graduate and earned his bachelor degree in music education from Minot State University.
This will be Beyer’s first teaching position as an educator and will be instructing elementary music for grades K-4 in the same school he started his music education in the Bottineau school system.
Jackie Bullinger
Bullinger was born in Farmington, MN, and graduated from Walker-Hackensack High School.
Bullinger attended North Dakota State College where she majored in speech and drama and earned an English education degree from Minot State University.
Bullinger was a substitute teacher for Bottineau Public School last year and this will be her first teaching position as an educator.
Bullinger will be teaching 7-8 grade English, language and arts, along with the school’s high school journalism class. With the journalism class, Bullinger will also be re-starting the school newspaper.
Sara LaFromboise
LaFromboise was born and raised in Binford, N.D. and graduated from Midkota High School.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Mayville State University and her Master’s degree as a special education strategist from the University of North Dakota.
LaFromboise’s career in education includes being a substitute teacher in Devils Lake’s public school, a graduate teaching assistant at May-Port CG School District while working on her master’s degree and at the Dunseith Public School for the past six years as an elementary learning disability teacher.
In Bottineau, she will be teaching grades 7-9 as a learning disability teacher.
Rebbeca Moen
Moen was born and raised in the area of St. Petersburg, Fla.
She graduated from Northside Christian High School and earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education for grade 1-6 from the University of Florida.
Moen has taught in Florida for the past 12 years and will be teaching six grade language arts and world history.
Alissa Mogan
Mogan was born in Billings, Mont., and was raised in Malta, Mont.
She graduated from Malta High School and went on Montana State University-Billings earning a bachelor’s degree in special education and elementary education. Mogan also has credentials in autism and English as a second language.
In her career, she has been a substitute teacher in Montana and California. In California, while her husband served in the military, she was employed on her husband’s base as a special education teacher for self-contained 6-8 graders and as a resource special education teacher for grades 6-8.
In the Bottineau Public School system, she will be teaching junior high special services.
Alysa Palmer
Palmer was born and raised in Rolette and graduated from Rolette High School.
She earned her bachelor’s degree from Minot State University in business education.
Palmer has taught for 10 years and has been an educator in Divide County Public School, Wolford Public School, St. John Public School and Newburg United Public School.
In Bottineau Palmer will be the PreK-12 librarian.
Carrie Reimche
Reimche was born in Ft. Carson, Colo., while her father was serving in the U.S. Army. She was raised in Bismarck and graduated from high school there.
She earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education with a minor in music from the University of North Dakota.
Reimche taught seventh grade at Martin Luther Elementary School in Bismarck and 3-8 grades at Trinity-St. Paul Lutheran School in Hamel, ILL.
Reimche will be teaching fifth grade this year at Bottineau Middle School.
Lisa Resler
Resler was born and raised in Willow City. She is a graduate of TGU-Towner High School and earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education and kindergarten endorsement.
Resler taught kindergarten and preschool in Starkweather before coming to Bottineau Central School where she has been a paraeducator for the past two years.
She will continue to stay at Central School teaching kindergarten.
